On Dec. 29, 2008 around 8:30/9:00 pm, I was driving home from Antioch, CA. I had done a photo shoot with a friend. As I entered Vallejo, near the waterfront area, I noticed a bright light in the sky to the east of me. I took a side street to check it out and this is what I saw…
It was very low in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane because I saw a bright light in front and two in the back. As I turned down the side street, two more lights appeared on the sides, and then shortly after that a bright red light in the middle of the object.
This was going on while I was driving trying to get closer to it. I was trying to get my camera out at the same time. While still thinking it might be a plane, the object stopped in the air… so I hit my brakes to watch it.
As it hovered in mid-air for a few seconds, it then rotated 360 degrees in a complete circle, then kept heading east. Since I didn’t know that area well, I lost the object and you guessed it, I couldn’t get my camera out fast enough to take a photo…I know dumb-ass!!
I do know a lot about planes and jets, and this was something I’ve never seen before! So, I’m not sure what it was… it was a UFO!
But I do believe…We Are Not Alone!

I read your story with interest, especially when you wrote that the object stopped in mid-air and then made a complete circle! And you had an open-mind that it might be a plane until this happened. Thank you for sharing your story; I totally believe your account! Pati Duck
strange. i was watching a show about people in texas last january who reported seeing the exact same thing. a craft capable of hovering, triangular in shape, with 5 white and one red light. who knows? maybe you’re on to something.
Thank you, I was like whoa at what I saw, just wish I got my camera out faster! But now I never travel with out it just in case.

Tonight(1/21/09) I was driving back to Antioch from Concord. Was driving north on highway 242 right before it merges with highway 4. Saw an aircraft that was almost a direct match to what you saw. It was heading south towards buchanan airport like it was a plane coming in for a landing. But instead it appeared to almost come to a stop then did a slow barrel roll, pausing in the inverted postion for a second before completing the roll over. Then it made a very sharp 180 degree turn and headed back north towards the river.
I was also listening to my police scanner the night of your sighting and there were about 6 calls that night of strange lights in the sky over antioch about an hour after you saw your lights. So there is more validity to your sighting when the police go looking for it as well. I wish i had my video camera with me tonight. Strange things are afoot in northern california it seems.. anyway take care

Things ARE heating up in Northern California! Don’t know who or what they are, but keep your “eyes to the skies” as they say on UFO Hunters!
I believe don’t get me wrong, but I live in Antioch and I know the night in question. It was nothing more then the CHP helicopter doing a search over head (check CHP & Antioch PD if you don’t believe). This kind of thing is more common with all the crime increases. We have a terrible economy and the police have been very busy. What people need to understand in this area is its right between two airports Buchanan airport to the west & Byron airport to the southeast. Both airports service helicopters for Air-ambulance, search & rescue and police. Each airport also has a flight school for helicopter training day and night, to achieve their license they must complete a few night flight hours (trust me Ive complained about it. To get to the truth you need to be a skeptic above all else, the first answer isn’t always the truth.
hello, i read the last two postings. thanks Jase for writing in, and as soon as the weather gets better Im going to try to do a few nights out there with camera and vid camera in hand, I’ll keep you posted on what i find or not find.
thanks scott for writning in too, i (we) always keep an open mind on ghosts, monsters and ufos until I see one land and ET come out! my sighting was not in Antioch. as I was driving home from there, the sighting i saw did take place in the city of Vallejo. I (we) will always keep in mind what we see and photograph, so until the day comes with hardcore stuff, we shall always be open minded…Thanks again Jase & Scott for writing in, have a great night :)
I live in Vacaville and I have seen about five of them in one night at the same time. One very bright. At first for a few weeks a very bright light facing me night after night, then the five of them. Tonight just the one. But it starting turning lights off, maybe ont at a time. very strange. Felt like being watched. Never seen it move. Could they be satelights?
I saw a low flying 737 in northern california as it was descending across i5. As i watched i saw a white object fly by, at first thinking it was a peice of debree. I kept my eye on the white thing, which rose higher than the plane, and then met up with 5 other objects that looked almost opaque, but were in a formation directly above. It was weird, I thought they were weather baloons at first, but what would they be doing in the path of jets, and why would they form a perfect formation.

i have had police scanners running 24/7 for the last 22 years, and not once did i ever hear a single call for a ufo during any of the hundreds of times a helicopter was flying, let alone the multiple calls that came in that one night. and there were no choppers flying during the time the ufo sightings were called in. and besides that, not once did i ever see any of those helicopters go inverted or do a barrel roll. so to say something was a chopper just because they fly around this area is like me saying all strange lights in the sky are top secret military aircraft.

Hey, a couple of days ago i was talking to a guy i work with about weird things we’ve seen, anyway i was telling him about 3 aircraft my family had seen on the fourth of july when I was 8 years old, so 23 years ago, that were triangular shaped that had came in from the east and desended to the treeline directly over the back of my house. My brother and i ran to the backyard and stood directly under the craft spell bound by them as our grandfather yelled for us to get in the house. I remember they had a light at each point and cast a bright purple haze that didn’t illuminate. They had this humming sound that looking back i would say sounded like a massive electrical charge. Anyway he laughed at me and told me when i got home to look up “project aurora”, and i have to admit they are very similar in shape and size. Maybe what i saw was an earlier version of these space planes. Check em out, maybe you saw one too.
On January 20th I had a triangular shaped object fly along side my truck on hywy 80 heading south bound just before Marine World exit. It turned and started heading torwards an intersect to fly directly over my car at about 600′ high . When I abruptly slowed down it slowed down.When I sped up it sped up. there was no way to stop or avoid it from flying directely over my truck.As it flew over it looked very much like the picture but the front and back of the traingle were flat.As it flew over it pointed it’s nose down raked it’s light over my truck and flew over the hill.It turned and did this one more time near marine world.I’ve never experienced anything like this before.
hey i have a story that my bro told me about last week about a sighting in vacaville. my brother is currently in solano state prison which is in vacaville, he was out in the yard, getting ready to go in when he and some other inmates saw some lights in the sky, at first they thought it was a blimp in the night sky but then it just stopped in mid air and zipped forward and then zipped in the opposite direction, from what he told me it had lights all around the bottom. i did realize that there is a airforce base not that far from there. oh, his sighting was some time between april 24 and may 24
Seven years ago when I was eight years old my mom and I were walking on the beach around the fourth of July. We decided to stop and look at the stars. After looking for about twenty minutes we saw a triangular shapped flying objext that looked just like the picture shown above. It was somewhat see through and had five lights on the side just like the picture does. There was no red light and it seemed to be noise less. whatever that was it scared my mom and I very bad. It was no Government thing. I believe what we saw was not of this world.
This is a tr3 aircraft. It is made by the USA and has been around for years. Top Secret stuff. There are lots of other photos of the same thing on the web. Please verify it yourself. Not an alien craft.
I had a very similar experience On Sept.4, 2008 at about 9:15pm. I was doing my evening bike ride when I heard a very powerful humming sound. I looked up, and just down the block was a large Triangular shaped aircraft with red and white blinking lights on all 3 sides moving toward me at a very slow 2-3 MPH or so. I rode very slow until I was right under it. It was just above the trees at about 200-300 feet. It was a perfect triangle with a flood light of some kind in the nose, I could see the beam reach out into the night sky. The thing was gone so fast I could not believe my eyes. I still ride that street on a regular basis hoping to see it again (with my camera). I do think it is some very high tech man-made type of aircraft.
I am a senior security supervisor in the Stockton and Tracy, Ca. area, and one of my Security Officers told me about a bunch of people in Tracy, Ca. seeing, what they all believed to be, a UFO. According to my source, it was seen by not only regular people, but by police officers from Tracy, Ca. He said that several people actually took video cameras out and started filming it, and the police officers were using their spot lights to try to see it better. He stated that it was on the news, but try as I might, I cannot find anything on the net about it. Has anyone out there heard about this?
There are so many UFO’s in the East Bay I have had several sitghtings the best place to look is in the back hills of Antioch CA and back roads of Livermore. Had 3 ufos hover 200ft over my truck one bell shaped one rounded and other flat disk they were pretty small in size. Hovered over us for 10 nibutes. just frequent the back roads.
I had frequented the area and saw so much that I began to be followed by blackcopters got to the point those guys freaked me out. once I stopped going out there and stopped talking they stopped messin with me. Have not gone back since.
Ok, I have no idea why I have decided to look more into this subject, I guess I just got tired of it bugging me. Keep in mind, I don’t believe in Aliens or Martians. Back in 1987, I was working out in Marin County. While traveling back home to Concord on HWY 4, just coming down before the 680/hwy 4 interchange, I saw an unusual aircraft hovering directly over the Concord Naval Weapons Station. It was round with a ring of blue,neon lights around it’s perimeter. It was about 10 o’clock at night and definitely had me mesmerized as I drove up HWY 4. Over the years I have told very few people about this sighting because I really don’t trust our Military or Government. I am not really sure why I am out here looking up information about it now, other than the curiosity and the information of the internet brought me here. I have googled any thing I could about the base and sightings around it, but nothing that dates back that far. I did find it interesting that they conveniently turned this area into a golf course. I also found it interesting that the area above the hills, just to the back of the course, it is still not developed. (Thanks to Google Earth) At any rate, I hope this helps to confirm your idea’s about what has been going on there. I believe in my own mind that these are special aircraft, built by our military to do some sort of stealth spying, that would be just observed by other countries as UFO sightings.
